Thank you for adding your info, we will get back to you as soon as possible.
If you would like to talk to someone immediately (within working hours), please call 865-297-5052. If you don’t get us, leave a message because sometimes we’re in the woods or something and don’t have a good signal.
If you have a particular property you’d like to go look at, feel free to head on out there. We try to provide enough info on each listing for someone to find the tracts on their own.
Here’s a checklist to go over before your trip.
- Contact us to let us know you’re heading out there and to confirm that the tract is still available. Sometimes there are also combination locks we’ll need to give you the code for.
- Print out a copy of the survey(s)
- Try to familiarize yourself with the area using Google Maps.
- Watch any “Drive to” videos we may have available. We make these to give you a ground level feel for what the approach to the properties feels like. You’ll see where to turn and landmarks that help you know you’re on the right track when making the drive yourself.
- Download and install the maps.me app on your phone. This is, BY FAR, the best thing you can do to make your trip a success. This app is free, works on Apple and Android phones and doesn’t need a signal once you set it up. After you have the app installed, just go to the property listing and download the KML file under the property description. Once the file is downloaded, tap it and select “open with” or “open in” and select maps.me. Once the KML file is imported into the app, you can go to the bottom and select the bookmarks icon to see a list of bookmarks… the property should be in there. When you zoom in to a new area, maps.me will download the area map and you can then use it even when there’s no signal. Make sure you can view the outline of the property on your phone before you set out on your trip. Do this by tapping on the “Bookmarks” icon and then tapping on the property name. It should then zoom into the area and show you the outline of the tract.
- DO NOT use the “navigation” function in maps.me to get near the property. Maps.me is pretty awesome but it is horrible at generating directions to something. Instead, use Google maps or an app like Waze to get to a road or address close to the property and then switch over to maps.me when you get close.
